They're gorgeous... unfortunately they don't work right on a Mac... the pngs provide a white background, not silhouetted with shadow :(

Fine, great... then, if you know your job, then how do you apply the png file icon to a folder on a Mac without it having the white background.

Those PNGs do not have any background. This release got 1600 downloads and you are the first user telling me those PNGs have a sort white background. Then the issue is all on your side.

By the way, the PNGs are for Linux, a Mac is supposed to use ICNS files.

My apologies, man... I haven't looked for any new icons to used on my Mac for many years... yours were super cool, and I wanted to use them. I had been used to getting icons from the iconfactory that were already applied to folders. I had no idea that the ico's were the ones to use. Thanks for the explanation. Your work is gorgeous... congrats. -Greg
